Because chlorella is a natural product, its analysis may vary slightly depending upon the season, the weather and environmental conditions. The first point of note is the high percentage of protein, including an excellent balance of the eight essential amino acids.

 

Along with protein, chlorella is rich in vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll. Vitamin A is the most plentiful, found in the form of Beta Carotene. These are all important for the smooth functioning of the animal's body and for proper health maintenance.

 

Directions for Feeding

• Newborn and small pets 1 tablet per day

• Pets weighing up to 22kg 2 tablets per day

• Pets weighing 22kg and above 2-4 tablets per day

For best results, tablets or powder should be given daily before the pet's meal (when stomach is empty. In most cases, your pet will love the taste of Yaeyama Chlorella so you can use it as a treat. Tablets may be crushed and added to milk or feed for puppies.

 

Tablets should not be left exposed to air for an extended period of time. To preserve, keep tablets in the resealable pouch and store in a cool, dry environment avoiding direct sunlight and moisture.

 

What is Chlorella?

 

Chlorella has been on earth since the Pre-Cambrian period - more than 2.5 billion years. It is a single-cell fresh water alga which is roughly the same size as a human blood cell. Each chlorella cell is a self-sufficient organism with all of the plant's life functions taking place inside the cell. The result is an unusually high concentration of important nutrients in the chlorella plant.

 

Activator: Chlorella Growth Factor (C.G.F.)

Chlorella is also one of the highest natural sources of chlorophyll (20 times the chlorophyll of alfalfa, nearly 10 times that of spirulina, 8 times that of wheat grass and 10 times that of barley grass) It is 60% protein compared to 7% in rice, 39% in soybeans and it contains more iron than spinach and more vitamin B-12 than beef liver.
