Suggested use & storage instructions
It is generally recommended to introduce these nutritional whole foods gradually into your diet and build the amount up to the normal "comfort" level - the body will adapt over a period of 2-4 weeks allowing you to take more. The tablets can be crushed or chewed and swallowed with water or juice (preferably non citrus); the capsules can be swallowed with water or juice. For powder, 3g is around a heaped teaspoon; this can be mixed in fruit and/or vegetable smoothies or sprinkled on yoghurt or cereal. Avoid mixing the powder with hot drinks as heat may destroy some of its live activity. Do not swallow the dry powder on its own!
If one takes the full amount once a day, we recommend that this should be taken at breakfast. Alternatively, the daily intake can be consumed at several intervals throughout the day with water or juices, but best times are around 1/2 hour before meals. Light sleepers may avoid taking them too late in the evening due to their energising effects. Remember that the consumed amount of these nutritional wholefoods is not critical and one cannot overdose on them!
With this amount, you will not notice immediate significant changes. However, your body will get many of the nutrients it must have in order to function properly, such as amino acids (protein), vital minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates and enzymes. It is quite common for a person to take 6-9 grams per day and at this level you will soon notice significant changes in digestion, energy and overall health.
Due to the detoxifying nature of the algae and grasses, you might experience a mild headache, diarrhoea or flatulence (wind, gas) when you first take these supplements; this is quite normal and will pass in 3-4 days. If this occurs, halve your next intake. If the symptoms persist, discontinue use and consult a health specialist.
How soon will it work for you?
Everyone who takes green foods would like an immediate result. It is possible to get lucky and experience a remarkable upsurge in your health within days. Most people need a little more time to feel their full effect. Usually, you will experience a noticeable improvement in your health after three months of regular and consistent consumption, but then there others who may take these food supplements for longer before they sense their benefits.

Keep your pouches sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.
Our container tub for the powder is made from PTE plastic which also has ultraviolet inhibitors to prevent UV light from penetrating and damaging the contents. After each use, keep the container air tight so that no air gets to it. If you purchase tablets or powder in bulk, please ensure that you transfer the product in a sealing container, such a tupperware; these green products are very hydrophilic by nature, store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't use wet hands when taking the tablets or capsules out of the pots.
Stored properly at cool temperatures and in dry environment, your green superfoods can likely retain stability for at least 2 years.
